Restaurant Sakura in Sherwood

The Sakura in Sherwood is like the rundown sibling of the Sakura in Bryant. The food has increased in prices in over the few year to months. Pretty dark and dead inside. The owner Amy is horrible, she's always either eating or doing something not even related to her job. Overcharges for EVERY LITTLE THING!! One small 2 oz. container of sriracha, spicy mayo, or yum yum sauce is like 0.75+. Overall, I would choose any other Japanese restaurant then this place, even its the last place that available.

Great Sushi and Hibachi! Ann is the BEST! I have been eating here for years and she is hands down their best asset! Highly recommend requesting her as your server!

The first time we went was excellent, good food, good beer, good service. The second time we went was just the opposite, dirty tables, server double charges me for my sushi rolls and than wouldn't remove the charge, even though we never received a second set of rolls, we would have gladly took some home but they would not let us take them to go without charging us a boxing fee. I was so disappointed the second time at being overcharged, I will not be going back.

A great place for a quick and friendly bite to eat.Our waiter was incredibly friendly and fast, making sure any of our needs were met.The sushi was good and priced on par with every other sushi place we have been to in Arkansas. Nothing super fancy at this establishment, though.No draft beer here.The ginger salad was not my favorite, which was disappointing as I always look forward to the ginger salad when we have sushi. My husband did enjoy the octopus salad.

I usually have the same server when I go so this review will be based around her and the food quality. My first few visited were great. I honestly went in with the lowest of expectations because of the day I was having. My server was sweet, energetic and very polite. She always smiles and will constantly reassure you that everything will be ok. Now on to the food. Its actually good. I'm very picky on places that get my repeat business but this place has received it. Haven't had the sushi yet but have dabbled in quite a few entrees. Give the place a shot, you just might like it.

Pricey, they should have a Hibachi Grill table with those prices. Food was decent. I will go elsewhere next time, due to the food is not that dang good to match the price, presentation of plates sucks too, could of at least made it look pretty. No other complaints. Great people!

The food is fresh and tastey. The presentation of the food is beautiful. We were a little let down when we found out they didn't have hibachi tables, but the food was so good we didn't care lol!

Really good sushi! Great staff! Reasonable prices. We are from Iowa and this is a place we always have to eat at when we're visiting Little Rock.

i used to really like & recommend their sushi, but now they're my last resort. the sushi's not horrible, just not what it used to be. Nowadays, they seem to be a little "heavy handed" with the spicy mayo. my spicy tuna shouldn't be topped with a dollop of spicy mayo that compares to the icing on a walmart cupcake, in my opinion.

Great staff and service. Good lunch rolls. Great decor and setup. Prices were fair. Will be coming back to try other menu options.

Good, affordable sushi. Skip the "miso soup" though-- I ordered it and got what appeared to be most places' clear broth and mushroom soup with no sign of miso paste and definitely no tofu or nori.

The lunch and dinner sushi specials are a really good deal, and are not just the beginner sushi like California Roll. They include a lot more choices than similar combos I've seen (you've got 24 rolls instead of just the usual 6). The mochi ice cream is also great. Nice atmosphere and friendpy, attentive staff. ^_^

The sushi was good, however we only had 4 people in our party and one of us didn’t get our meal until almost the others were finished. Our server was very kind and apologetic (it was obviously out of his control, which we understood), and offered a $2.00 discount. The food was average (we have been here two other times). I would rate the sushi as average-good. (P.S. The music playing was late 90s R&B. Ha...)

Sushi not fresh! I ordered take-out and was very disappointed. But, tbh, I actually expected this given the geography. My mother ordered the sirloin, and although very fatty, she said it was one of the best steaks she ever had.
